HOLYOKE — Holyoke Media celebrated the grand opening of its new media center and soundstage Saturday. The project was completed after overcoming several setbacks, including challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic. Situated at 23 Suffolk St., once the homes of Gleason's Townhouse and the Holyoke Office of Planning and Economic Development, the building has been transformed into a multimedia production hub. The $2 million-plus project was funded through the Massachusetts Cultural Facilities grants, the Beveridge Family Foundation and other benefactors.
