HOLYOKE — The Saint Patrick's Committee of Holyoke has selected William 'Billy' Harbilas as the 57th Citizenship Award Recipient, acknowledging his 30-year involvement with the annual Holyoke St. Patrick's Road Race. The award honors individuals or organizations, regardless of Irish descent, who have significantly contributed to the parade or its committee. This week, David 'Archie' Donoghue announced the 2024 recipient at the Holyoke Lodge of Elks. Harbilas, well known in the Western Massachusetts' running community, has over 40 years of experience managing races.
