A Holyoke man awaits extradition after he was found by United States marshals in Puerto Rico in connection with the June death of another Holyoke man, Hampden District Attorney Anthony Gulluni's office announced Friday. Aleq Rodriguez, 22, faces a murder charge in connection with the death of Edgar Soto-Irizarry, 30, on June 22, Gulluni's office said in a statement. On that day, at around 9:20 a.m., Holyoke police received a 911 call about a reported shooting victim on the 300 block of Appleton Street, Gulluni's office said.
